DA284 filter to compensate the barometric pressure
The semi-permeable filter DA284 is used to balance the atmospheric air pressure
A special filter diaphragm compensates for pressure differences outside and inside the mounting box or connector at the end of the hydrostatic sensor cable without letting water molecules into the interior of the box (connector) and thus prevents water vapor from penetrating through the condensing capillary steam and subsequent corrosion of the sensor electronics.
